Some states offer deeds and some offer lien certificates; some may have a mix of both certificates and deed properties. The best have high interest rates, short redemption periods and great support by the counties involved in the lien sales. While the process for collecting current taxes will vary among each state, late tax collection is generally enforced in a uniform manner. Arizona and Florida hold online sales and a few will allow you to mail in your bid.
